Wynn Al Marjan Island Reaches Topping Out, Marking a Defining Milestone in the Creation of the Region’s First Fully Integrated Resort
Wynn Resorts is pleased to share the December progress update for Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the United Arab Emirates.
Rising to 283 meters across 70 floors, the tower has achieved its highest structural concrete point just 27 months after foundation works began. Upon the spire's installation in 2026, the building will reach its full architectural height of 352 meters, becoming the tallest man-made structure in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah by over 100 meters. With the main structure finished, the project has formally transitioned into the full interior build-out phase, which spans the resort’s extensive collection of rooms, suites, enclave accommodations, food and beverage venues, and signature public and private spaces.

Landscaping at Wynn Al Marjan Island has officially begun with the planting of the resort’s first tree—marking a significant milestone in bringing the destination to life beyond the structure itself. When complete, the resort will be home to one of the most distinctive and ambitious landscaping environments in the region, featuring more than 6,000 trees and over 500,000 plants. Supported by a state-of-the-art landscaping technology system and a dedicated off-site nursery, the landscape has been designed to evolve, thrive, and mature alongside the resort. Among the first trees planted are the Royal Poinciana (Delonix Regia) from China, and the regionally sourced Medjool Date Palm (Phoenix Dactylifera), both of which will reach heights in excess of 6 meters.

In parallel with this progress, Wynn Al Marjan Island has revealed that upon opening in Spring 2027, it will debut a museum-caliber art collection that brings together masterpieces, iconic works, and newly commissioned pieces by regional and international artists from across the globe. Among the highlights are a 66-million-year-old Triceratops skull, a specially commissioned Light Into Life sculpture by acclaimed British artist Marc Quinn, Tulips by Jeff Koons, and a 17th-century, 10-meter wool-and-silk tapestry with counterparts held at the Louvre and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
